Digital Petroleum Atlas
River Bank Field
Icons Description

Introduction:

The Digital Petroleum Atlas provides basic production, geologic and engineering data on the deep pools of the region and serves it conveniently, online. In addition to static basic data the web-based catalogue of pools provides dynamic maps and data visualization pages that pull data directly from the Kansas Geological Survey database in real time. The catalogue is linked to the KGS data system providing a convenient portal to a suite of online tools available on the KGS web site.

The Kansas Oil & Gas Field Viewer

The Kansas Oil & Gas Field Viewer provides a visual means of selecting wells and presenting the available data from KGS Database. Many of the Web Application Tools provided for viewing data for a well can be accessed by this viewer by selecting.

Field Oil & Gas Wells

A Dynamic Web Page generated by ORACLE Stored Procedure Listing all the Oil & Gas Wells for a Field. Identifies visually what data is available for each well. Icons are provided as a visual means to Download the oil & gas data to your PC or, Run Dynamic Web Application Tools that will plot the data.

Field Production

A Web Application Tool that plots the oil & gas production history for the field. The user can switch between oil and gas production plots dynamically and add the number of wells curve over the plot to see how many wells are contributing to the production over time. This Web Application also has a Decline Curve Analysis Calculator to preduct the production history and to compute a economic limit for the field.

Petrophysics

A Dynamic Web Page generated by ORACLE Stored Procedure Listing all the Oil & Gas Wells within 10 miles of the field boundary that have core images or core data for a Field. Identifies visually what data is available for each well. Icons are provided as a visual means to Download the oil & gas data to your PC or, Run Dynamic Web Application Tools that will plot the data. Depending on the data that is available the user will be able to view cross plots of measured core data or view a LAS Plot with core image buttons at the depth of the core image.

Java Runtime Environment (JRE):

Many of the interactive web applications use Swing, which is an enhanced Graphical Widget Package and will need a Java Plug-In, Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to run. Assistance in downloading the necessary files.
