21 Limestone - light gray; weathers ashy gray, and pitted; smaller pits in lower part; Derbyia, fragments of brachiopods & clams 1.95 ft.
20 Shale - yellow; locally weathers as shaly limestone 1 ft.
19 Shale - yellow and gray; limestone seams in lower part; transitional contacts above and below 9.1 ft.
18 Shale - black to dark gray in lower part; many fossils ranging up to near top: Chonetes, productids, bryozoans, Composita, Derbyia (collection) 2.1 ft.
17 Limestone - dark gray; slabby; fossils; lower part more resistant 1.2 ft.
16 Shale - dark gray; lenses of impure limestone; fossils: Chonetes 2.05 ft.
15 Same as above  
14 Limestone - blue gray; nodular; clams 0.5 ft.
13 Shale - dark gray to black; limestone nodules; hard, brittle limestone in lower part 1.35 ft.
12 Shale - dark gray at top grading into light green 3.7 ft.
11 Shale - very limy; cream color; weathers into mass of small blocks 1.5 ft.
10 Shale - brownish gray; lenses of impure limestone 1.7 ft.
9 Limestone - gray; dense; conchoidal fracture 0.5 ft.
8 Limestone - yellow gray; massive crystalline; sparse fossil fragments 1.6 ft.
7 Shale - gray; limy 0.25 ft.
6 Limestone - slightly yellowish-brownish-gray; laminated, massive Osagia, coquina of fragments and micro fossils 1.5 ft.
5 Limestone - brownish gray; laminated 0.3 ft.
4 Limestone - or mudstone - gray; very irregular joints; clams 0.9 ft.
3 Shale - dark gray; contains calcite geodes in all but upper 2 feet 3.1 ft.
2 Shale - abundant fossils: Chonetes etc. 7.15 ft.
1 Cottonwood limestone.
