5 CLAY--fairly plastic, light gray with red mottling toward top and yellow toward bottom, has some lavender 5.0 ft.
4 CLAY--slightly silty to plastic, light gray with some yellow joint stain, where it is not weathered it has pronounced conchoidal fracture, slight amount of lignite 7.7-10.7 ft.
3 CLAY--plastic, gray with considerable amount of yellow stain, irregular in thickness to missing; some lignite 0-2.2 ft.
2 CLAY--plastic, gray, with slight yellow stain, pronounced conchoidal fracture, contains lignite particles and leaf fossils 4.7-5.5 ft.
  CLAY--fairly plastic with very little stain, rather dark gray, comes out in thin shells on bedding planes 5.6 ft.
-- SANDSTONE occurs in the bottom -- ft.
