Remarks: Composite of three pits

4 CLAY--slightly silty, light gray and red mottled, red is in vertical streaks, some lavender, some limonite specks 9.7 ft.
3 CLAY--silty, brown and light gray mottled with lavender and pink 4.8 ft.
2 CLAY--dips nearly west; indication of fault 5.5-8.0 ft.
1 CLAY--silty, yellowish and pinkish gray, slickenside extends in an unbroken plane from the SE to the NW. Dips 45° to west and 30° to the North, rock in bottom in spots, probably concretionary, several vertical or 8030° cracks with black sooty covering 6.0-8.5 ft.
