3 Cresswell Limestone, gray, shaly and bedded at top; middle and lower portions more massive, geodal, and pitted, with a few small chert stringers; echinoid species common, also brachiopods and some pelecypods at base 9 ft.
2 Grant shale, gray, largely argillaceous, with some sandy limy aggregate 12.5 ft.
1 Stovall limestone, dark gray, very cherty, with shaly transition at top and bottom, fossiliferous 3.5 ft.
