1 Limestone, fresh color is a yellowish-gray to yellowish-tan; rock is chalky-appearing on the weathered surface, but is actually hard and dense when fresh; bedding planes are even and bed thicknesses vary; rock breaks into blocks and slabs for the most part; contains scattered occurrences of nodular and tubular chert, as well as large cauliflower-like masses of drusy quartz 10.4 ft.
