1 Rather soft with a look and feel somewhat like tripoli; fresh color is a faint yellowish white with light brownish streaks here and there, in the bottom foot, there is a change to a medium gray shade; weathers to a dull, neutral shade of light brown; bedding varies from rather thin to massive; contains crinoid fragments which are crystalline calcite; rest of rock is fine-grained 7.7 ft.
