10 Characteristic upper Altamont, this does not show complete thickness, light gray brittle limestone, weathers with brachiopods. Thin lenses of chert. +/- 2.5 ft.
9 Lower part black fissile with phosphatic nodules, upper gray yellow flaky 5.4 ft.
8 Tiop of limestone is slightly irregular nodular  
D Mottled blue gray & brown. Many crinoid stems & thin fragments of fossils. Thin clay beds mostly purple and brown 1.8 - 2.1 ft.
C Brachiopods & crinoid stems 1.3 ft.
B Crinoid fragments throughout [unreadable text] fragments. Massive nodular "brecciated" limestone weathers with iron rust in non-uniform distribution, abundance of fusulinids in lower part 2 - 2.3 ft.
A Uneven nodular top. Dense dove gray limestone slightly mottled wavy, irregular bedding, Mesolobus, rough irregular base. flaky clay shale 10 ft.
  Top of this section seems to be just below the black shale with phosphatic concretions
