15 CLAY--silty to sandy, yellow limonite concretions, yellow and gray. 1.8 ft.
14 CLAY--plastic, dark gray with slight, yellow stain. 2.0 ft.
13 CLAY - plastic, yellow and light gray, limonite specks in yellow band. 1.2 ft.
12 CLAY--silty, light gray and slightly red mottled with some yellow. 1.2 ft.
11 SANDSTONE--yellow to brown, very irregular. 0.6 ft.
10 CLAY--silty, gray with yellow and pink. 0.6 ft.
9 CLAY--plastic, light gray with slight yellow stain, conchoidal fracture. 2.3 ft.
8 CLAY--plastic, lignitic, dark gray to nearly black with slight-yellow stain. 3.1 ft.
7 CLAY--slightly silty, gray with yellow stain, contains root molds or casts, lignitic particles. 2.5 ft.
6 CLAY--silty, gray with lignite particles, limonitic particles, conchoidal fractures. 1.5 ft.
5 CLAY--silty, dark gray with much yellow stain, root fossil or casts, lignite. 2.8-3.0 ft.
4 CLAY--plastic to silty, yellow joint stains, dark gray, some pyrite around root fossils, lignite in upper part. 2.1 ft.
3 CLAY--plastic, light gray with some yellow stains, holes probably contain limonite pellets, some lignite. 1.8 ft.
2 CLAY--plastic to-slightly silty toward bottom, gray with yellow tinge, no stain. 5.0 ft.
1 CLAY--silty, red and gray with grayish pellets, dendritic red. 1.0 ft.
