11 CLAY--silty to clayey silt, light gray with yellow limonitic streaks, typical upper Dakota 4.0 ft.
10 SILT TO FINE SANDSTONE--gray with slight yellow 3.2 ft.
9 CLAY--plastic, buff to brown with purple streaks 1.0 ft.
8 CLAY--plastic, dark gray to nearly black, many small slickensides 1.8 ft.
7 CLAY--dark gray 0.4 ft.
6 SANDSTONE--fine to silt, light gray to yellow, cross-bedded, irregular at top, thickens to east, becomes more clayey toward bottom and also shows more yellow 7.5 ft.
5 CLAY--silty, gray and yellow 1.7 ft.
4 CLAY--plastic, gray with considerable yellow in large areas and considerable yellow joint stain 3.0 ft.
3 CLAY--plastic, gray to dark gray streaks with some yellow stain 3.7-4.1 ft.
2 CLAY--silty, gray with some yellow streaks 3.6-4.0 ft.
1 SANDSTONE--fine to silty, clayey, yellow 0.8 ft.
