1 Shale, dark gray clay - Few inches seen  
  Note: this and sec. West 6-33-19 are best as type exposure of Altamont formation  
  Note: in 32-32-19 North and West of Altamont Lenopah caps small hill nodular in lower part of upper as elsewhere
