10 CLAY--silty, gray, contaminated from surface 2.8 ft.
9 CLAY--silty, light gray with limonitic specks and much yellow in irregular oblique cross-bedded streaks, some concretionary limonite; upper 2.0 feet is yellow clayey silt with some very fine sand 4.8 ft.
8 CLAY--silty, light gray with considerable amount of yellow, and one limonitic concretion 4.1 ft.
7 CLAY--silty, light gray with some yellow stain 2.2 ft.
6 CLAY--slightly silty, light gray with much yellow stain, and one large clayey concretion containing limonitic specks 3.4 ft.
5 CLAY--plastic, light gray with some faint brown mottling and slight yellow stain 6.3 ft.
4 CLAY--plastic, gray with limonite on horizontal joints, some limonite concretions, platey 2.0 ft.
3 CLAY--gray, plastic with moderate amount of yellow, platey 2.2 ft.
2 CLAY--slightly silty to fairly plastic with very little stain, contains lignite particles and leaf fossils 3.9 ft.
1 CLAY--slighty silty, gray with slight yellow stain, contains some lignite particles 6.4 ft.
