Producing Formation:

MISSISSIPPIAN
(Mississippian System)

Depth Top: 4915 feet
Formation Lithology: White, vitreous chert with a little tripolotic chert
Trap Type: Stratigraphic (erosional). Regional dip on the Mississippian is toward the southwest. The Mississippian thins toward the northeast and thickens southwestward, underlying this area. The producing zone pinches out toward the northeast and thickens toward the southwest and water is present on the down-dip, or southwest, side. The gas and oil has accumulated above the water and against the pinchout on the northeast side.

Oil & Gas Production Information

Produces Oil: Yes Produces Gas: Yes
Average Oil Column: 5 Average Gas Column: 29
Water Production: From April 14 to 16, 1953, the well made 32 gallons of fluid, which was 45% water plus colored gasoline. In September 1955, the well was down for 72 hours and during that time it made 29 barrels of water and 7 barrels of oil accumulated.
