Drilling Casing Practices: |
Drilled 12 ¼ hole to approximately 400 and set 8 5/8 casing, with cement circulated to surface. Drilled 7 7/8 hole to total depth. Lost circulation zones are common in the Glorieta at 1400 and in the Lansing at 4100. Salt mud system properties were maintained from the top of the Lansing to total depth. Set 5 ½ casing at total depth, and 2 stage cement covering the Mississippian and shallow sands that contain corrosive fluids. Perforated Mississippian pay zone and cleaned up zone with 500 gallons of acid. Swabbed back to determine productive capacity and treated with additional acid if necessary. |
Electric Logging Practices: |
Gamma Ray Neutron Density used during early development of the field. Later a RAG log was run for coorelation only. |
