Short description: Mill stones mark the site of the former settlement of Hart's Mill along the Caney River in Chautauqua County. According to a history prepared by the Chautauqua County Historical and Genealogical Society, many buildings and homes in the town were lost to flood in 1885, and most of those remaining were moved to Hewins.
