Short description: Doyle (lower beds of Towanda limestone and upper mudrocks of Holmesville shale) Shale exposed along Milford Lake shore, with base of Towanda limestone at 350 m (1148 ft); basal bed like that at GE-269 with laterally discontinuous microbial/algal stromatolites; three digital photos, one of base where stromatolites are absent and two of base where stromatolites are present just southeast of first photo; approximately 400 ft east and 200 ft south of northwest corner Sec. 12, T.11S., R.4E., Geary Co., Kansas.
