Short description: Wreford (Schroyer limestone) Limestone exposed in road ditch on south side of Simpson Ranch Road, with top of Schroyer limestone at 374 m (1227 ft), approximately 0.3 m (1 ft) of coated grainstone (ostracodes and snails) overlain by about 0.15 m (0.5 ft) of light-gray carbonate mudstone with greenish-gray clay splotches, fenestra, and vertical fractures (a high intertidal to low supratidal carbonate); two digital photos; near center of north line, Sec. 17, T.12S., R.7E., Geary Co., Kansas.
