Short description: Native American petroglyphs carved into a sandstone bluff at Palmer's Cave. Because the sandstone is soft and easily eroded, the cave is off limits to most visitors. It is one of 30 Native American rock art sites in Kansas listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In 1995, portions of the petroglyphs, including the long reclining figure, broke off due to erosion.
