Short description: Garden of Eden in Lucas in Russell County. Samuel P. Dinsmoor began building his stone cabin in 1906 and added a mausoleum after the house was completed. Then he began work on the concrete sculptures that surround the property, only stopping in 1929 as a result of failing health. The Garden of Eden was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
