Short description: Monument marking the site of the Kidder Fight (also known as the Kidder Massacre) along Beaver Creek near Goodland in Sherman County. In 1867, a U.S. 2nd Cavalry detachment led by Lyman Kidder were attacked and killed during a mission to deliver dispatches to George Armstrong Custer.
