Short description: Barn constructed of Cottonwood Limestone Member blocks at Spring Hill Ranch, now part of the Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve. Spring Hill Ranch became a National Historic Landmark in 1997. The 11,000-acre Tallgrass Prairie National Preserve, established in 1996, represents a portion of the 170,000 acres of tallgrass prairie that once covered the central United States.
