Info from Larry Newman at DOR: I spoke to Jim Fuller of High Plains Production. They are the current operator of the Messenger 1-2, well number 223105. He said that the well is located in the SW quarter of Sec 2, Twp 23S, Rng 33W. It was originally drilled by Amoco and was called the Angel 1-2. Amoco abandoned the well. High Plains acquired the well, did a recompletion (or some type of rework) and found gas. The API number is 15-055-20583. Feb 25, 2002 The scout card says that the original operator was Northern Pump, then it was Ensign. The producing zone is 2831-2924 in the Council Grove. The ACO-1 says the lease name is "ANGEL 2-1." It says the producing formation is "none" and the production was none and that the well was temporarily abandoned. It lists the operator as Ensign. The other details match what is on the composite and the contributing records. MCM 12 Dec 2006 | |
