Short description: Tecumseh Hall at Haskell Indian Nations University in Lawrence in Douglas County. Constructed of native limestone in 1915, the hall served as a gymnasium. Haskell Indian Nations University, founded in 1884 as Haskell Institute, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1966 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1961.
